Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team in a remote setting. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, depending on experience. In this role, you will provide crucial therapeutic support to individuals navigating emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, ensuring they can lead fulfilling lives.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Professional Counselor at Frontier, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, contributing positively to their emotional, physical, and psychological growth.
- Conducting comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations and creating strategic treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers.
- Facilitating brief, focused therapy sessions for patients requiring mental health support, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Evaluating and advising on cases for referral to specialty mental health services, ensuring patients receive the appropriate level of care.
- Monitoring patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to foster recovery and stability.
- Engaging with patients to develop self-management skills and provide educational resources that empower them during their treatment journey.
- Documenting patient progress accurately in treatment charts while maintaining adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards.
Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health concerns. You will be working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other psychological challenges. Your role will be pivotal in identifying at-risk patients and integrating preventative measures into their care plans.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field.
- A current, valid LPC license for the state of Georgia.
- Extensive knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, behavioral therapies, and diagnosis.
- Strong skills in patient evaluation and the ability to create tailored treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and documentation as per agency policies.
While not essential, candidates with the following credentials will be given preference:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to enhance communication with our diverse client base.
- Experience working in outpatient settings or Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
- A deep understanding of community resources and how to effectively connect patients with support services.
