Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at New Cross Center, you will:

  • Conduct assessments with couples, providing therapy to both partners as well as individual sessions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Engage in complex family dynamics therapy, addressing a variety of issues including alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, job stress, and communication difficulties.
  • Facilitate sessions that help clients navigate the challenges of blended families, separation, and divorce, focusing on coping mechanisms and adjustment strategies.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices that align with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve supporting a diverse client base, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various psychological and emotional challenges. Qualifications
