Key Responsibilities
  • Develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to guide treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
  • Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities to engage clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and updates in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using secure electronic record systems.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of behavioral health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational issues. The ideal LCPC will have the skills to effectively support clients from varying backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent and inclusive care.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.
  • Experience working within a telehealth framework and familiarity with relevant technology platforms is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-direction and time management in a remote work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also offer a generous sign-on bonus to qualified candidates. In addition to base salary, the organization provides potential for unlimited earnings through client caseload growth and performance bonuses.
