Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions to support clients through various mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and holistic care, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to stay updated on mental health best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field.
  • Current and unrestricted LCPC licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
  • Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering therapy services.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various therapeutic tools.
