Key Responsibilities
  • Create individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each student, based on thorough clinical assessments.
  • Engage actively in case conferences with multidisciplinary teams, bringing valuable insights to enhance the overall treatment strategy for students.
  • Monitor the progress of students, routinely following up to assess improvements and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Design and implement Group Therapy sessions addressing various challenges faced by students, fostering an environment of peer support.
  • Communicate effectively with school personnel and parents, offering guidance and resources to support students’ emotional and psychological development.
  • Document assessments and treatment plans accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support students in a school environment, addressing diverse mental health challenges. The population includes children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties, often complicated by issues such as trauma, family stressors, or developmental disorders. Your work will directly influence their academic success and overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, enabling effective counseling and advocacy for students.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to craft effective treatment strategies.
  • Demonstrated abilities in coaching and motivating students towards positive behavioral changes.
Preferred Experience
  • Two to three years of experience working in a clinical setting, particularly with children or adolescents.
  • Familiarity with educational frameworks and working collaboratively within school systems.
