Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions.
• Complete timely documentation that complies with regulatory standards and reflects the progress of clients under your care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients' mental health status and inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with client goals.
• Participate actively in all licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to maintaining our clinic's high standards of care.
• Act as a liaison to pertinent service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to align with organizational mission and contract standards.
• Build relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to promote our programs and identify opportunities for new partnerships and funding.
• Pursue opportunities for personal and professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and relevant meetings within your field of expertise.
• Promote the core values, mission, and principles of the organization, ensuring they are integrated into daily practices.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, adjusting to the evolving needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LMHC, you will work with a diverse range of clients who require support for various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, emotional disturbances, and developmental disabilities. Your ability to provide empathetic, personalized care will significantly impact their journey towards recovery and improved emotional health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient counseling is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
