Work EnvironmentThis position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to provide high-quality care to clients from the comfort of your own home. Our collaborative approach encourages open communication among team members, allowing for regular consultations and treatment plan development. You’ll have access to a variety of telemedicine tools to enhance client interactions, while also being able to conduct in-person sessions as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough consultations with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.
- Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual and family dynamics.
- Lead support groups for parents, creating a safe and nurturing environment, particularly addressing challenges faced by families of prenatally substance-exposed children.
- Conduct developmental evaluations of children to ensure appropriate interventions and resources are provided.
- Plan and deliver training sessions for a variety of stakeholders, including social workers, attorneys, educators, and other mental health professionals, focusing on best practices in family therapy.
In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your focus will be on fostering healthy relationships and addressing mental health issues within a family context. You’ll work to understand the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by each family, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is personalized and culturally sensitive.
Qualifications- An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this role.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapy is necessary.
- Experience leading parent support groups or working with at-risk populations.
- Knowledge of developmental and psychological assessments and interventions tailored for children and adolescents.
- Proficient in the use of telehealth technology and remote therapy methodologies.
This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year.
