Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.
• Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual and family dynamics.
• Lead support groups for parents, creating a safe and nurturing environment, particularly addressing challenges faced by families of prenatally substance-exposed children.
• Conduct developmental evaluations of children to ensure appropriate interventions and resources are provided.
• Plan and deliver training sessions for a variety of stakeholders, including social workers, attorneys, educators, and other mental health professionals, focusing on best practices in family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your focus will be on fostering healthy relationships and addressing mental health issues within a family context. You’ll work to understand the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by each family, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is personalized and culturally sensitive.

Qualifications

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapy is necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading parent support groups or working with at-risk populations.
• Knowledge of developmental and psychological assessments and interventions tailored for children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year.
