Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological, emotional, and relational challenges.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, ensuring the application of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, detailing clear goals and measurable interventions.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to enhance the therapeutic experience and foster community support among clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring coordinated care and comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when needed, including risk assessments and safety planning to preemptively address client crises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in line with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns. These may include, but are not limited to, anxiety disorders, interpersonal conflicts, trauma recovery, and emotional distress. You will have the responsibility of adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the varying needs of clients that come from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Qualifications

• An accredited Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
• Strong foundations in evidence-based therapeutic practices and a genuine commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients swiftly.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of specific therapeutic techniques relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with various populations, including diverse cultural backgrounds, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
