Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gain insight into clients' mental health issues, resources, and support systems.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused interventions, to provide comprehensive therapy.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals, tailored interventions, and ongoing evaluations.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, consisting of psychiatrists, school counselors, and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, risk assessments, and safety planning to ensure the welfare of clients facing acute challenges.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes for both students and caregivers, enhancing community mental health literacy.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards while upholding client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and their families, helping them navigate mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role is crucial in supporting these individuals’ emotional well-being and equipping them with effective coping strategies for their everyday lives. By working primarily within a school setting, you will have unique access to better understand the challenges students face, allowing for earlier interventions and support tailored to their educational environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits
