Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional ethics throughout the therapeutic process.
- Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, explore stability, and address upcoming treatment goals or discharge readiness.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards.
- Perform thorough intake assessments for new clients to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional supervision and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
- Maintain a growth mindset, remaining open to feedback and continuously seeking self-improvement.
This position focuses on serving a youth-centered population within the clinic. As an LPC, you will work closely with adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will be vital in facilitating their development, and helping them navigate life's complexities, thereby influencing positive outcomes in their overall well-being.
Qualifications- Master's Degree in a mental health-related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements in clinical settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate effective therapeutic relationships.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in performing assessments and diagnoses.
- Experience providing both individual and group therapy in various clinical settings.
