We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Assisted Hand Medical Group. Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage in weekly group and individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and provide peer support.
• Collaborate with the Oregon Health Authority to gather and report crucial enrollment and discharge data for clients receiving problem gambling treatment.
• Coordinate care by conducting joint case planning with community agencies, schools, group homes, law enforcement, and local legal systems to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Provide education and information on behavioral health and addiction prevention to community groups and organizations, enhancing public understanding and reducing stigma.
• Attend and participate in trainings, meetings, and conferences mandated by administration, applying insights gained to improve agency practices and client care.
• Develop, implement, and oversee a quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) plan, including all necessary policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Complete other responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisory staff, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the organization's mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with an adult population facing various mental health challenges and potential substance use issues. Your expertise will enable you to address each client's unique situation using evidence-based practices tailored to their individual needs. This role requires sensitivity and a strong understanding of the complexities of mental health and addiction within the community.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, applicants must hold a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), Master of Social Work (MSW), Master's in Professional Counseling, or Master of Family Therapy (MFT) degree from an accredited institution. You must possess the necessary credentials for licensure as a mental health professional in Oregon or Washington.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required. Experience working with diverse populations and in community-based environments will be considered a distinct advantage. Knowledge of current mental health diagnoses and treatment methodologies, as well as familiarity with local behavioral health resources, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
