Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and create tailored treatment strategies.
• Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions with clients using individualized techniques designed to promote healing and personal development.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions, focusing on effective communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records to uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about emerging trends and best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and behavioral concerns. You will foster a supportive environment where clients feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions, enabling them to work toward improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude, allowing clients to feel seen and respected.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy is preferred, as this role will primarily operate in a virtual environment.
• Skills in working with specific populations, such as families and adolescents, will be beneficial to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Familiarity with digital therapy tools and platforms to enhance the client experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and commitment, Together & Strong Counseling Center offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually.
