Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, employing evidence-based techniques and solution-focused interventions tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), facilitating sessions that empower clients toward their healing journey.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines—psychologists, psychiatrists, and other counselors—to expand the care continuum and provide holistic services to clients.
- Engage in regular consultations and peer support meetings to enhance the quality and effectiveness of treatment provided.
- Support and educate clients and their families on mental health issues, guiding them through available treatment options and community resources to foster informed decisions.
- Stay abreast of the latest research developments and advancements in mental health practice to inform your therapeutic approach.
- Manage a full caseload of patients efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and upholding the ethical standards set by your licensing board.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with clients facing a diverse set of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and relationship challenges. Our patient population is as varied as the therapies we offer, catering to individuals across various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Your insight and empathetic approach will be essential in guiding clients toward restoration and well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- An active license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing solution-based psychotherapy techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that promote effective relationships with clients and peers.
- A strong foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking to address the needs of a diverse range of clients.

Preferred Experience
While a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, candidates with advanced competencies in specialized therapeutic techniques or additional credentials are highly preferred. Experience in remote therapy settings or within community health clinics will be considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per annum, along with potential bonuses based on performance metrics.
