Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns to formulate clinical diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Facilitate crisis interventions for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and resources are available.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to ensure holistic client care.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and community resources, advocating for their needs as necessary.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and supervision to stay informed of best practices in psychotherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of client demographics, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, across various backgrounds and cultures. Many clients will present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Maryland, including LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
