Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standard psychological assessment tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients that address their unique challenges, aspirations, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote effective coping strategies and personal growth.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, fostering understanding of treatment options and emphasizing self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring responsiveness to each client's evolving needs.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated treatment options for our clients.
• Stay informed about the current research trends and evolving methodologies in the management of mood disorders to apply innovative strategies in therapy.
• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions, treatments, and assessments, adhering to legal and ethical standards set in the mental health profession.
• Engage in case consultations and professional development opportunities that enhance clinical competencies and promote best practices in mood disorder treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a similar field is required.
• Current licensure in Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic modalities, with a focus on mood disorders, and a keen understanding of psychopharmacological treatments.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health clinic setting or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience delivering CBT and DBT, with proven effectiveness in improving patient outcomes.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services for clients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
