This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring their unique backgrounds and experiences are taken into account.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions for both individuals and families based on their specific needs, employing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, in accordance with specified deadlines.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans, ensuring clients are supported in maintaining stability.
• Create and implement discharge plans to facilitate a smooth transition for clients leaving the therapeutic process.
• Adhere closely to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as the policies and procedures outlined by our organization.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational opportunities to remain current in best practices.
• Participate actively in case consultation and agency meetings to enhance team effectiveness and client care.
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training as stipulated by the relevant authorities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, all seeking assistance with mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral health issues. As a counselor, you will engage with clients virtually, offering them a safe and supportive space to explore their thoughts and feelings. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys while working to destigmatize mental health care in our communities.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field required for licensure.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in telehealth counseling, crisis intervention, or working with diverse patient populations are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms can further enhance your application.
