Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, conduct risk assessments, and devise positive behavior support strategies.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation adherent to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess patients effectively, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Actively engage in the licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Serve as an essential liaison between our clinic, various service systems, state agencies, and community organizations.
• Foster effective communication channels with stakeholders to uphold contract standards and enhance community outreach.
• Build relationships with local and state organizations to identify new partnerships and funding opportunities for program expansion.
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and representing the agency at various meetings.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all aspects of service delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and significant life transitions. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults of all ages, each requiring a tailored approach that honors their unique experiences and backgrounds. The emphasis is on promoting mental wellness and aiding recovery, ensuring each client receives personalized and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a mental health field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with collaborative treatment planning and multi-disciplinary approach to care.
• Knowledge of Maryland's mental health services and regulatory requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
