This is a full-time remote position that requires a passionate professional who can deliver outpatient therapy to individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. Work EnvironmentThe working conditions for this LICSW role are uniquely designed to promote comfort and flexibility. You will work in a climate-controlled office setting, primarily through remote interactions, to connect with patients and collaborate with your team. Daily movement throughout the facility ensures continuous engagement with fellow healthcare members, enhancing collaborative practice and interdepartmental communication.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological state and needs of patients utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and are tailored to meet the cultural and special needs of the patient population.
- Continually assess and document patient progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as necessary to foster effective treatment and support mental health diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, clinical documentation, and reports using contemporary technology while adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment goals, desired outcomes, and actionable plans of care.
- Act as a critical liaison between patients and external treatment providers, coordinating referrals and establishing effective communication networks.
- Participate in the education and mentoring of students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to the professional development of aspiring healthcare personnel.
- Under supervision, engage in peer review, clinical collaboration, and chart auditing to enhance team performance and individual skills.

Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a current State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
- Demonstrated experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with cancer patients, is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches commonly utilized in mental health and cancer care.
- Strong background in coordinating care across multiple providers or organizations and understanding the healthcare system.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies used in mental health record-keeping and telehealth capabilities.
The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to patient care.
