Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Kennewick, WAJob Details:We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider for a locum tenens position specializing in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, located near Kennewick, WA. This role offers a comprehensive opportunity with a combination of clinical hours and call coverage, providing essential support in both hospital and clinic settings. The assignment starts ASAP and extends until October 1, 2025, ideal for professionals seeking a long-term locum tenens opportunity.As a Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery provider, you will work primarily as a first assist in the hospital, with additional responsibilities in the outpatient clinic. The position requires flexibility to handle both scheduled clinical hours and call coverage, ensuring high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• End Date: October 1, 2025
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental staffing need
• Shift Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Practice Setting: Both outpatient and inpatient
• Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
• License Requirement: Must hold an active Washington medical license or be eligible under the IMLC
• EMR System: Epic
• Privileges: Hospital/surgery center privileges required
• Call Type: Combination of weeknight and weekend call
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available for select holidays including:
  • New Year's Day
  • 4th of July
  • Memorial Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas DaySchedule Details:
    • Hospital Coverage: Monday through Friday, focusing on first assisting in surgeries
    • Clinic Coverage: Every third week, Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
    • Call Coverage: 7-8 days per month, including night call during the week and 24-hour call during weekends
    • Patients Per Shift: Approximately 8
    • Beds in Department: To be determined
    • Rounding: Both hospital and clinic rounding requiredAdditional Information:
      • Certifications Required:
        • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
        • BLS (Basic Life Support)
        • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 to 90 days
