Machine Operator / Welder

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Measure materials accurately using rulers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Set up, adjust, and maintain machine settings
• Load and unload materials and finished products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Assist with other production and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Welding experience required
• Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Ruler Test with 100% accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Must be able to work the scheduled hours of Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• MIG welding experience
• Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Blueprint reading experience
