Position Summary
The Vice President, Insurer Relations and Strategic Accounts is responsible for growing and managing the relationships with insurance carriers Key Account Customers. This role develops and executes the account management strategy in the automotive collision repair segment and may expand to other related major growth segments for Opus IVS. As part of the Opus IVS leadership team, they represent Opus IVS and our other portfolio brands' interests in the industry and will grow existing strategic relationships and originate new enterprise opportunities with major customers and industry stakeholders. They will drive revenue and growth through management of assigned strategically important clients. This position is responsible for achieving financial targets and assigned account objectives identified during the account management process. This role will conduct high level strategy client meetings, negotiating ongoing programs and legal contracts with existing customers, and partnering with the appropriate internal teams for successful service delivery. In addition, this role will act as the primary liaison to the client and will lead, provide guidance, and develop the key account management team at Opus IVS.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leverages and maintains productive, professional relationships with key personnel of assigned Opus IVS Key Account customers (Insurance carriers, Key Opus collision customers, industry partners, etc.)
- Originate, develop, and secure enterprise partnerships with major insurers, MSOs and other industry stakeholders that materially accelerate adoption of Opus IVS solutions across the collision ecosystem.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis and leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Responsible for coordinating all contract renewal activity for assigned accounts and supporting new contract negotiations to improve the value to the company.
- Establish a customer-focused account management organization with internal alignment between different sales teams, including field sales, inside sales, lead generation, business development and (key) account management in the US
- Own executive-level relationships with strategic industry partners across estimating, claims, repair workflow, parts, data, OEM and technology ecosystems, positioning Opus IVS as a preferred strategic partner and influencing industry adoption.
- Develop employees by coaching and training individuals and teams in Account Management and People Management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 15+ years of industry related, senior level management experience in the automotive repair and service industry with understanding of high-growth B2B software/SaaS solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing enterprise programs that resulted in broad customer, network or industry adoption, including complex initiatives involving insurers, large repair organizations or industry technology partners.
- Strategic thinker with track record leadership experience and client relationship building.
- Proven automotive industry experience with solid understanding of service and collision repair processes, ADAS, market participants and customer requirements in the US.
- Experience with sales strategy planning and execution, sales operations, customer success, marketing, channel and partner management, business planning, and sales support management in a global setting.
- Reside within driving distance of Dexter, MI with the ability to be in office four days a week.
- Substantial experience in technology, software and automotive industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
