Mechanical Assembler
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20–$21
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed
Location: Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Mechanical Assembler will build and assemble mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components, parts, and equipment using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.
- Measure and verify parts using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Install hardware, brackets, fasteners, cables, tubing, and other mechanical components.
- Follow assembly procedures and production specifications to ensure products are built correctly.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and identify assembly issues or defective components.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, alignment, workmanship, and quality.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Work effectively with other members of the manufacturing and production teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools such as a tape measure and calipers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Good attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing or electromechanical assembly experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work in various positions as required.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
