Hybrid 3 days on-site in Charlotte, NC or Charlotte, NC
Our client seeks a Business Analyst Professional I to analyze functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications. The role will support performance improvement by reviewing information, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures, and by recommending solutions aligned with organizational goals. The analyst will collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders to define problems, document business needs, and enhance or automate business systems.

Rate: $28.00 to $32.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Utilize computer systems resources and personnel to perform analyses that support performance improvement.
- Review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
- Determine useful business solutions and recommend alternative courses of action to meet organizational goals.
- Design and improve computer-based business systems.
- Work with senior managers to identify and resolve computer-based business system problems.
- Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems.
- Collaborate with personnel across units to assess current operations and identify problems.
- Elicit problem symptoms from management, define problems, decompose into components, and gather data from various sources.
- Select appropriate analytical techniques for studies.
- Apply techniques such as simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, Markov decision processes, econometric methods, data envelopment analysis, neural networks, expert systems, decision analysis, and analytic hierarchy process.
- Document business needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems.
- Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to assess feasibility of requested changes.
- Study existing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production or workflow.
- 0 to 3 years of experience as a business analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Exposure to or proficiency with Maximo, CAPS, Power BI, Excel, and Outlook.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
