Physician: Conduct comprehensive resident medical evaluations and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and review laboratory and diagnostic results.
Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care.
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
Maintain complete and timely medical documentation.
Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, VA, and Mississippi regulations.
Provide medical consultation to nursing and clinical staff.
Respond to medical emergencies and urgent clinical situations.
Medical Director oversees physician performance, clinical quality, infection control, QAPI activities, policy development, credentialing, and survey readiness.
Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and administrative meetings.
Support staff education and continuous clinical improvement.
Minimum Qualifications Physician:
MD or DO degree.
Current unrestricted Mississippi Medical License.
DEA Registration.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred).
Minimum three (3) years of physician experience.
