We're searching for an Assistant Project Manager to support their project management team on ground-up high-rise residential, mixed-use, and higher education projects across the DC Metro area. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized professional to grow their career while working closely with experienced Project Managers on high-impact, large-scale work.
The Opportunity
Assistant Project Manager: Support multiple projects and PMs across all phases of construction
Ideal for a candidate with a strong organizational mindset and interest in growing into a full PM role
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare contract documentation, including subcontract agreements, change orders, and material purchase orders for PM review
Enter and maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation in Procore
Compile monthly invoices and review customer billing requirements per contract
Maintain project file integrity and manage site-specific access requirements
Prepare for, support, and document weekly project meetings
Support Project Managers with day-to-day duties as needed
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (or equivalent experience)
Experience on large-scale ground-up commercial projects. High-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education strongly preferred
Ability to support multiple projects and multiple project managers simultaneously
Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong written, oral, and digital communication skills
Self-motivated, accountable, and a natural relationship builder. xevrcyc Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment
Daily driving distance to DC Metro job sites (no relocation/travel model)
