We’re seeking a detail-oriented Precision Optical Assembler to build small, highly precise optical and mechanical components used in advanced laser systems. This is a hands-on position supporting prototype and low-volume technical hardware.

• Assemble small optical and mechanical components
• Install optics into precision mounts and assemblies
• Handle, clean, and protect sensitive optical components
• Apply epoxies, adhesives, and mechanical fasteners
• Work with microscopes, tweezers, fixtures, and precision hand tools
• Follow drawings, work instructions, and engineering documentation
• Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and accuracy
• Support prototype builds and changing assembly requirements
• Document completed work and maintain a clean assembly environment

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Experience performing small-part or precision assembly
• Ability to read drawings and follow detailed assembly instructions
• Comfortable working with microscopes, magnification, and small hand tools
• Previous optical, laser, electronics, aerospace, medical device, or precision mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Experience with adhesives, epoxies, or controlled materials is a plus
• Experience in prototype or low-volume manufacturing is beneficial
• Exposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, or another controlled quality environment is preferred
