Business Development Executive

Greater Cincinnati Area / Full-Time

Epcor Foundry is an ISO- and IATF-certified manufacturer specializing in high-quality custom aluminum sand castings. Founded in 1946, Epcor combines decades of foundry expertise with advanced technology to produce reliable, complex components for automotive and other industrial applications.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for all sales activities in the target market community for Epcor Foundry, from lead generation to close.

What you’ll do:

• Identify and develop new business leads within target markets.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline that supports company growth objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and other key stakeholders.
• Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Identify RFP and RFQ opportunities and coordinate the timely completion of accurate, competitive proposals and quotes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
• Deliver presentations, proposals, sales updates, and other communications to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Achieve established monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Travel regionally approximately 25–35% of the time.

What we’re Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of successful business-to-business development or sales experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop customer relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and close new business.
• Experience using a CRM system to document and manage daily sales activities.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-organized proposals, presentations, and status updates.
• Persuasive verbal communication and presentation skills in both prepared and spontaneous settings.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• Self-directed, results-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
