ComResource is looking for a JD Edwards Business Application Analyst.

Responsibilities:

Business Requirements Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization.

Application Design and Implementation

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of applications to meet business objectives.
• Work with developers, architects, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions compliant with SOX and SOD regulations.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality and performance.

System Support and Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, updates, and maintenance for business applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain system documentation, user manuals, process flows, and configuration guides.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Serve as a liaison between IT and business teams.
• Facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Train end users and support application adoption.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Lead initiatives that improve processes, systems, and business value.

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP applications supporting multiple modules.
• Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and functional specification development.
• Experience with JD Edwards Finance, Manufacturing, and Distribution modules.
• Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator.
• SQL proficiency.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired:

• Finance/Accounting, supply chain, or distribution experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques.
