About the Role:
Globaltekforcecom Inc is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Mid Level IT Business Analyst to join our growing team in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to support IT initiatives
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and end-users throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Conduct gap analysis, workflow mapping, and process improvement assessments
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases and coordinating testing efforts
• Maintain clear and organized project documentation, including BRDs, use cases, and user stories
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• Proficiency in creating requirements documentation, user stories, and process flow diagrams
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
