Medical Assistant

DownEast Orthopedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their clinical team. Candidates will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.

Clinical duties may include:

• Chart prep
• Rooming patients
• Recording vital signs
• Recording medical histories
• Drawing up injections
• Suture removal
• Cleaning/Prepping instruments for autoclave
• Preparing patients for examinations
• Anything a provider might need to assist them with patient care.

Candidate must be:

• Patientcare focused
• Be able to multi-task
• Have attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be a team player, but also function independently

Shift:

• Monday-Friday, Days
