Certified Medical Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

A Certified Medical Assistant is needed to provide back office duties in a GI clinic setting. Duties include vital signs, rooming patients, prescription refills, lab and imaging order entry, EMR data entry, and telephone triage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• National medical assistant certification. Non-certified medical assistants must have at least two years of medical office experience in order to qualify.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
• Medical scribe experience is preferred.
• This position requires the ability to work between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
