Active status is required for RMA or CCMA.

Job summary:

Prepare examination rooms, instruments, and supplies.
Escort patients, verify medical histories, document symptoms, and record vital signs.
Assist with ear, nose, and throat examinations and in-office procedures.
Set up and clean equipment used for nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, ear irrigation, and minor
surgical procedures.
Perform approved clinical tasks such as hearing screenings, and specimen collection.
Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control and safety standards.
Update electronic health records and accurately document patient care.
Explain procedures and provide physician-approved aftercare instructions.
Process prescriptions, referrals, prior authorizations, and laboratory or imaging orders.
Schedule appointments and coordinate care with audiologists, speech therapists, pharmacies,
laboratories, and other specialists.
Respond to patient messages and promptly alert clinical staff to urgent symptoms.
Maintain medication, equipment, and medical-supply inventories.
Typical Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; completion Of a medical-assisting program is Often preferred.
CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification may be preferred or required.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Knowledge Of medical terminology, electronic health records, HIPAA, and infection-control
procedures.
Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and patient-service skills.
Previous ENT, allergy, surgical, or specialty-clinic experience is helpful, but not required. Students welcome to apply.
Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with patient positioning, and lift supplies or equipment
safely.

Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00/ hr

Location: Rotating position between three locations: 3030 N. Circle Drive, Ste. 300; 6031 E. Woodmen Road, Ste. 300; 3595 E. Spaulding Avenue, Ste. B Pueblo CO
