Medical Assistant

Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant at Pointe Primary Care, you are a critical link between patients and providers. You’ll facilitate efficient patient flow, assist with exams and procedures, and ensure meticulous documentation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about patient care and working in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Collect and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Administer injections or medications under provider supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while handling medical records and documentation accurately.
• Participate in team huddles and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting.

Applicants must have:

A high school diploma or GED,

Certification from an accredited secondary institution (preferred but not required).

Must possess strong clinical skills (vitals, injections) and administrative skills (scheduling, EMR) to support healthcare providers efficiently.
