<p>We are seeking a dependable Tractor Driver for a full-time driving position based in Las Vegas, NV. Drivers will operate automatic tractors and primarily complete local routes, with occasional overnight trips to California. Most trips will have a turnaround time of 24 hours or less.</p><p>This position includes a mix of touch and no-touch freight and deliveries to commercial and residential locations, including airports.</p><p>Pay: $30.00/hour<br />Schedule: Monday–Friday<br />Start Time: Approximately 8:00–9:00 AM<br />Overtime: Occasional<br />Weekend Work: Rotating on-call schedule<br />Equipment: Automatic Tractor Trailers<br />Touch Freight: Approximately 50%<br />Routes: Primarily local with occasional overnight trips<br />Travel Area: Las Vegas area and California</p><h3>Duties</h3><p>Safely operate an automatic tractor trailers on assigned routes.<br />Complete primarily local routes with occasional trips into California.<br />Load and unload freight as required.<br />Handle approximately 50% touch freight and 50% no-touch freight.<br />Safely transport palletized freight.<br />Complete deliveries to stores, warehouses, yards, commercial locations, residential locations, and airports.<br />Complete occasional overnight routes with a turnaround of no more than 24 hours.<br />Participate in the rotating on-call weekend schedule.<br />Properly inspect, secure, transport, and deliver assigned freight.<br />Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, and delays.<br />Follow company policies and all applicable DOT and safety regulations.<br />Maintain professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Must possess CDLA<br />Experience safely operating tractor equipment.<br />Comfortable operating automatic equipment.<br />Ability and willingness to load and unload freight.<br />Comfortable performing approximately 50% touch-freight work.<br />Must be able to meet required airport security/clearance requirements.<br />Available to work Monday–Friday with an 8:00–9:00 AM start time.<br />Must participate in the weekend on-call rotation; each driver will cover a weekend as part of the rotation.<br />Willing to complete occasional overnight trips to California.<br />Must successfully complete the required interview and road test.</p><h3>Benefits</h3><p>$30.00 per hour<br />Monday–Friday schedule<br />Daytime start between 8:00–9:00 AM<br />Occasional overtime opportunities<br />Predictable rotating weekend/on-call coverage rather than regular weekend scheduling</p>PandoLogic.
