<p>We are seeking a dependable Driver for a local delivery position based in El Paso, TX. Drivers will operate 2024 International tractors and straight trucks while completing local commercial and residential deliveries.</p><p>This is a hands-on position involving approximately 70% touch freight, loading/unloading, and some warehouse and forklift responsibilities.</p><p>Pay: $22.00/hour<br />Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM to close; Saturday starting at 8:00 AM<br />Overtime: Available as needed<br />Weekend Work: Yes<br />Equipment: Tractors and straight trucks<br />Tractor: 2024 International<br />Transmission: Automatic<br />Routes: Local El Paso<br />Average Mileage: Approximately 20 miles per day<br />Touch Freight: Approximately 70%<br />Freight: Mostly palletized</p><h3>Duties</h3><p>Safely operate tractors and straight trucks on local El Paso routes.<br />Load and unload freight at the warehouse and delivery locations.<br />Handle approximately 70% touch freight.<br />Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.<br />Transport primarily palletized freight, with some individual pieces.<br />Complete deliveries to stores, warehouses, yards, commercial locations, and residences.<br />Perform assembly and disassembly when required.<br />Operate a forklift as part of warehouse responsibilities.<br />Assist with warehouse loading and unloading.<br />Properly secure and protect freight during transportation.<br />Complete required vehicle inspections and follow company safety procedures.<br />Maintain professional communication with customers, warehouse staff, and dispatch.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Must possess a CDL-A License<br />Ability to safely operate tractors and/or straight trucks.<br />Comfortable operating automatic equipment.<br />Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.<br />Comfortable performing a physically active job involving approximately 70% touch freight.<br />Ability and willingness to load and unload freight.<br />Willing to perform assembly/disassembly as needed; training and assistance are provided.<br />Ability or qualification to safely operate a forklift.<br />Must be available Monday–Friday from 11:00 AM until close and Saturdays beginning at 8:00 AM.<br />Comfortable making both commercial and residential deliveries.</p><h3>Benefits</h3><p>$22.00 per hour<br />Local El Paso routes<br />Approximately 20 miles of driving per day<br />Modern 2024 International equipment<br />Automatic transmission<br />Mostly palletized freight<br />Assembly/disassembly training provided<br />Assistance available for assembly duties<br />Opportunity to gain forklift and warehouse experience<br />Local commercial and residential deliveries<br />Consistent weekly schedule</p>PandoLogic.
