CAM/NC Programming Engineer - Mastercam & Automation

• Engineer processes that boost precision, flexibility, and throughput across diverse parts.
• Own 5-axis NC programming in Mastercam—from strategy to post-processing and prove-out.
• Deploy automation solutions to reduce changeover and increase spindle utilization.
• Partner with design, production, and automation teams to resolve manufacturability issues.
• Lead lean/Six Sigma initiatives and lock in best practices via clear documentation.
• Champion safety, quality, and environmental compliance at every step.

• Program and troubleshoot multi-axis operations, optimizing cycle time and surface finish.
• Design fixtures, select tooling, and validate toolpaths with simulation and on-machine checks.
• Standardize automation workflows and NC templates for repeat builds.

• Extensive experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
• Proven 5-axis CNC programming expertise.
• Track record integrating automation into machining cells.
• Fluency in CAD/CAM and G-code (Mastercam highly preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or related.
