Overview

The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a critical role in managing the company’s corporate general ledger, while also working closely with accounting and finance leadership to enhance and maintain the company’s cash management and cash forecasting functions. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to think on your feet, and collaboration across departments. Prior experience in commercial real estate accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the corporate general ledger and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance leadership to enhance cash management and cash forecasting capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting needs.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in special projects and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred
• 4+ years of related accounting experience; real estate or public accounting preferred
• JD Edwards (or similar real estate platform) proficiency preferred
