A law firm seeks a Health Law Associate with M&A experience to join their transactions team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers, and will be committed to providing high-quality client service in complex transactions.

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents
• Conduct and report on due diligence
• Manage the deal process and communicate with clients and counsel
• Lead smaller transactions and aspects of larger deals
• Direct and manage deal team members and specialists

• 3+ years of strategic M&A experience in the health care industry
• Strong academic credentials and critical reasoning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and responsibilities
• Familiarity with federal and state health care regulations preferred

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school

• Admitted to or eligible for admission to the MA, NY, or DC Bar

• Professionalism in engaging with demanding clients
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings
