ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit analysis.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical and avionics systems and their operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer data.
• Basic skills in diagnosing and correcting electrical faults and discrepancies.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous areas, including high/low voltage systems, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic computer skills. Must be able to maintain electronic timesheets, make use of email and other communication applications, document completed tasks, request parts, generate basic documents and spreadsheets to facilitate production.
• Employee must provide own tools no later than 180 days after hire date.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience with aircraft electrical systems.
