A well-established plastic surgery practice is looking to add a highly motivated and energetic medical assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering high level and individualized patient care.
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
● Introduce patients to our medical practice and efficiently prepare them for their visit
● Extensive phone and in-person communication with patients; reviewing pre-operative and post-operative care
● Assist with managing consultations, in-office medical procedures, laser procedures and drawing up medications
● Use company provided electronics to access and maintain medical records, input notes, photos etc.
● Keeping track of supply inventory and making sure supplies are adequately stocked and up to par
● Familiarizing yourself with surgical procedures, aesthetic treatments and services
● Act as a liaison between surgeon and patient; promote surgeon/surgical results and "the brand"
● “Hand-Hold” patients through their surgical decision process
Qualifications:
● Certified Medical Assistant in the state of New Jersey with minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience
● Plastic surgery/Aesthetics or dermatology experience preferred
● Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
● Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills amongst patients and colleagues
● Desire to grow with a team and within a company for a long period of time
