Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current School Psychologist certification/licensure in Illinois (or eligibility)
• Previous experience with PreK and elementary populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, psychological assessments, and special education regulations
• Skilled in leading and participating in IEP meetings
• Proficient in conducting initial and triennial evaluations
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
• Ability to collaborate well with educators, families, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for initial referrals and triennial reevaluations
• Provide insightful, clear, and timely written reports supporting educational decisions
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to develop appropriate student plans and services
• Consult with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student progress
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
