Industrial Maintenance Technician / Machine Repair Technician
Location: Waukesha, WI
Job Summary
Adecco is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and production machinery
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
- Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, machine repair, maintenance mechanic, millwright, or related role
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Manufacturing experience required
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
