Job Summary
A growing staffing and employment services environment is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to support client relationships, candidate placement activity, and business development efforts in Tucson, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an early-career professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who enjoys connecting with people, solving hiring challenges, and building strong business relationships.
The Staffing Specialist will play an important role in supporting both employers and job seekers by helping match qualified talent with open positions. This role offers a collaborative team setting, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to build a long-term career path in staffing, recruiting, sales, and account management. Success in this position comes from strong communication, follow-through, customer service, and the ability to balance recruiting activity with client-facing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with client contacts, candidates, and internal team members.
- Support recruiting, screening, interviewing, and placement activities for open job orders.
- Assist with account management by communicating client needs, tracking open positions, and providing timely updates.
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, outreach, and internal databases.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, onboarding steps, and candidate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate activity, client communication, and placement progress.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year.
- Location: Tucson, CA.
