Facility: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center

Location: 3600 NW Samaritan Drive Corvallis, OR 97330

Duration: 13 weeks (Possibility of extension)

Payrate: $18-$23/hr on w2

Shift: Days (0800 - 1700) No weekends

Job Description

Samaritan Gastroenterology serves Linn, Benton, Lincoln, parts of Marion, and neighboring counties. The team includes physicians, physician associates, nurses, and support staff who work together to provide comprehensive digestive health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and surgeries according to physician orders.
• Answer incoming patient calls regarding preparation instructions for upcoming procedures.
• Provide clear, accurate, and compassionate guidance to patients.
• Address patient questions and concerns regarding procedure preparation.
• Ensure patients understand all required preparation steps to support a positive care experience.

Required Experience / Education / Qualifications

• Previous surgery/procedure scheduling experience is required.
• EPIC experience is preferred.
• Local candidates only — the manager will only consider candidates who are local.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience and/or training in a position with similar responsibilities and complexity required.
• Experience and/or training with medical and insurance terminology preferred.
