Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting, including patient care, blood draws, vital signs, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient Medical Assistant experience.

• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.

• Blood draw/venipuncture experience required.

• Epic EHR experience preferred.

• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions or declinations accepted.

• Strong patient care and communication skills.

• Ability to float to other suites within the building.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and healthcare providers.

• Perform patient intake, obtain vital signs, and document medical history.

• Perform blood draws and routine clinical procedures as assigned.

• Prepare patients, examination rooms, equipment, and supplies for provider visits.

• Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations and treatments.

• Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in Epic EHR.

• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare team members.

• Follow infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols.

• Float to other suites within the building based on operational needs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
