At OnSpot Dermatology, we’re redefining how patients access dermatology care. Our state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics bring full-service skin care, including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and Mohs surgery, directly to local communities and businesses across Southwest Florida.

In addition to our innovative mobile clinics, OnSpot has expanded into brick-and-mortar locations, including our Fort Myers office, giving our team the opportunity to provide exceptional dermatology care in both mobile and traditional office settings.

We are looking for Medical Assistants to join our growing team in Fort Myers. This position will support our Fort Myers office and mobile dermatology clinics.

We are currently hiring for both part-time and full-time positions.

As part of our clinical team, you’ll provide hands-on support to dermatology providers, assist with procedures, help coordinate patient care, and contribute to an outstanding patient experience.

This is more than a typical Medical Assistant role. It’s an opportunity to work in an innovative dermatology practice, gain experience in both mobile and office-based care, and be part of a mission-driven team focused on fighting skin cancer and improving lives.

• Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations
• Assist dermatology providers with patient care in our Fort Myers office and mobile medical clinics
• Scribe for providers and accurately update electronic medical records using EMA/Modernizing Medicine
• Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for the laboratory
• Assist with additional testing and procedures as needed
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
• Provide patients with appropriate instructions and support throughout their visit
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical environment
• Travel with our mobile medical clinics as scheduled
• Occasionally take on duties outside of standard Medical Assistant responsibilities to support team operations

• Certified and/or experienced Medical Assistant
• Dermatology or surgical experience preferred
• Knowledge of Mohs procedures is a plus
• Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred; training is available for the right candidate
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to travel with the mobile clinic
• Comfortable working in both a traditional office and mobile clinical environment
• Motivated to provide an exceptional patient experience
• Passionate about helping detect and treat skin cancer
