Accounting Bookkeeper

Skills / Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash application.
• Strong analytical ability, with a demonstrated capacity to research historical transactions and determine how work has been performed previously.
• Self-directed working style. This position requires someone who can identify what needs to be done and figure out how, with limited procedural documentation and minimal supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — lookups, pivot tables, formula logic, and the ability to combine and reconcile data pulled from multiple sources.
• Working experience within an ERP environment, including navigating a system that requires manual workarounds rather than fully automated processing.
• Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in high-volume transactional work.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including professional interaction with vendors, customers and internal departments.
