Compensation: Starting pay: $17 / hour

WHY THIS ROLE

Looking for a healthcare role where you can combine hands-on patient care with the variety of a medical office? Primary Health Network is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to support patients and providers through both clinical and front-office responsibilities while helping create an efficient, welcoming patient experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs, height and weight, chief complaints, and medication review.

· Assist providers and nurses with patient care and clinical procedures.

· Perform approved clinical procedures such as venipuncture, injections, specimen collection, and routine testing based on training and clinical privileges.

· Prepare prescription refills under provider direction and assist with medication prior authorizations.

· Support patient scheduling, registration, phone communication, and other front-office needs.

· Help maintain patient flow and a safe, welcoming environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program and/or relevant direct patient-care experience.

· Strong clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.

· Current CPR certification.

· Computer proficiency and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay: $17 per hour. PHN recognizes experience, education, credentials, and site location when determining wage, as applicable.
