Customer Service Representative - Inside Tech Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage sales orders
• Assist and serve walk-in customers with their needs.
• Recommend and spec tooling solutions for customers.
• Process returns efficiently and accurately.
• Apply customer payments and ensure all paperwork is correct before submission.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
• Set and achieve both personal and work-related goals.
• Contribute to the team’s success by helping out wherever necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area to enhance customer experience.
• Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals and provide change accurately.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and reporting low inventory levels

Ideal candidate

• Basic understanding of reading prints and finding products based on print requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in a B2B customer service role
• Experience with Epicor's Prophet 21
• Motivated to dig in and learn about our products and customers
• Mechanically inclined with a passion for building and understanding things
• Proficient in typing quickly and accurately
• Comfortable working through things they do not understand with customers and co-workers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask insightful questions to meet customer needs.
• Team-oriented with excellent email and phone etiquette.
• High critical thinking & problem-solving abilities
• Honest, dependable, and possessing a servant’s heart for serving both customers and co-workers.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, (store is open 7:30-5:30), rotating shifts possible.
• Work Location: In-person at our Benbrook, TX branch.
