• Specialty: Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery

• Summary: We are in search of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in neurosurgery, particularly in post-operative and neurocritical care. Experience in trauma is also required.

• Practice Settings: Inpatient

• Duties: This role focuses exclusively on inpatient floor coverage, with no operating room responsibilities. The case distribution will involve both spinal and cranial cases, typically a 50/50 split, although this may vary based on surgical demand and patient requirements.

• ICU Responsibilities: Yes, the provider will be involved in the MICU, SICU, and Emergency Department, making experience in neurocritical care crucial.

• License: Must be licensed in Montana or hold an IMLC.

• Reason for Coverage: Position available due to vacancy.

• Patients Per Shift: Approximately 10

• Hours: Shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM.

• On-Call Requirements: None

• Team Collaboration: The provider will collaborate with a team of 7 neurosurgeons.
